• 56°C Steri-clean – Kills bacteria and viruses by heating the evaporator to 56°C high temperature for 30minutes, almost no bacteria and virus can survive at 56°C for 30minutes based on latest research. Once the heating process is done, the evaporator is cooled down instantly to achieve better sterilisation performance
• Self clean – The dirt that accumulates on the evaporator of the air conditioner facilitates the growth of bacteria and affects the quality of the air. The self clean function freezes the evaporator surface with the humidity present in the air, and removes dirt from it during defrosting
• Self-hygiene – Mould and bacteria are diffused in the air. Although not all microbes compromise air quality and cause disease, some harm our health if we don’t manage them well. Haier incorporates silver nanoparticles into the main components to inhibit bacterial growth. Silver nanoparticles continuously release small amounts of silver ions to ensure protection against mould and bacteria. The use of silver nanoparticles in the components through which the air passes, eliminates mould and bacteria up to 99.9%
